Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The main duties include cleaning and sanitising all assigned areas, which may involve patient rooms, common areas and especially toilets. Staff are expected to wipe tables and floors after meals, sweep and mop regularly, empty waste bins and ensure the general cleanliness of surfaces and windows. You will be following set checklists and may occasionally assist with deeper cleaning requirements as needed.
Tasks are straightforward but vital, such as making sure restrooms are always hygienic and stocked and that public areas are presentable for residents and visitors. There might also be other cleaning-related work as directed by supervisors.
