What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
As a Warehouse Picker Order Selector, your primary responsibility is to accurately pick beverage product orders. You’ll use a voice audio headset for guidance and stack product cases weighing up to 50 pounds onto pallets, following a specific pattern. Orders are then securely shrink-wrapped and moved to the loading dock with an electric pallet jack or walkie-rider. General housekeeping and possible extra tasks may arise, so adaptability is helpful for success in this fast-moving environment.
Advantages of the Role
One major advantage is the competitive hourly wage with clear pay increase milestones, providing financial predictability. Additionally, the full suite of benefits ensures your well-being inside and outside of work. The job fosters a team-oriented setting and keeps you active throughout your shift, helping you stay physically fit while on the clock.
Potential Drawbacks to Consider
This position requires consistent physical effort: expect to stand, lift, and move throughout the entire shift, with some loads up to 50 pounds. Moreover, shift times are somewhat fluid and may stretch into overtime or weekends. Therefore, personal flexibility is essential.
Our Verdict
If you value a steady, active routine, reliable pay, and comprehensive benefits, this position deserves serious consideration. While the physical demands are high, the supportive benefits and financial rewards are strong incentives for motivated individuals looking to grow in warehouse operations.
