Day-to-Day Responsibilities – What to Expect
Leading a warehouse section, your main responsibilities include ensuring timely incoming parts and accurate stock-in. You will scan and supply parts to production, managing quantities precisely.
Maintaining stock levels and ensuring parts are always in good condition is key. In addition, upholding cleanliness through the 5S methodology is part of your daily routine.
You will coordinate with external suppliers and warehouses to ensure production receives everything on schedule. Teamwork and relationship-building skills are necessary here.
Managing warehouse operations involves scheduling workers for both day and night shifts, especially when extra hands are needed post-5PM to meet daily targets.
You’ll also oversee RBA Compliance among team members, making regulatory adherence another crucial duty.
