Job Responsibilities and Daily Life
This Gardener role with The Ivy is focused on caring for interior and exterior restaurant plantings. Core duties include watering, feeding, and seasonal pruning to maintain plant health and appearance.
You’ll be expected to uphold top standards by controlling plant quality, cleaning leaves, deadheading blooms, and ensuring everything is tidy and inviting for guests daily.
Working closely with a Planting Manager, you’ll also be responsible for reporting issues and assisting with pest and disease management as set out in maintenance plans.
Other tasks can involve collecting extra plants, switching out displays seasonally, and making sure pots and areas are clean and orderly to the highest standards.
A full, clean UK driving licence is required as you will be required to travel as part of these responsibilities.
