Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Shipping Clerk, you handle administrative duties related to outbound shipments of finished goods. This involves ensuring invoices, bills, and shipping records are accurate and up-to-date.
Your role includes lifting heavy merchandise, preparing and packaging orders, and supporting order fulfilment for a range of electronic components. You may need to operate a forklift as part of daily operations.
In addition, you’ll be maintaining records, logging orders in the computer, and distributing paperwork to other departments. You are a crucial point of contact for shipping queries and coordinating with transport companies.
This role also involves supporting team sales efforts and maintaining Excel, PowerPoint, and Word files. Occasionally, you may deal with international shipping requests and documentation.
