Cleaner & Laundry Attendant
Take on a reliable, full-time cleaning and laundry role with hotel-level standards, stable pay, and the ability to work independently. Experience preferred, competitive wages.
The Full-Time Cleaner & Laundry Attendant opportunity offers a salary in the range of $39,520 to $47,840 annually, or $19.00 to $23.00 per hour. This is a permanent, full-time position with on-site responsibilities and schedule flexibility, including daytime and some weekends. Experience in cleaning or housekeeping for at least a year is preferred, and working knowledge of English is required for day-to-day communication.
Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Tasks
As a Cleaner & Laundry Attendant, your workday is split between two key tasks: keeping apartments immaculate and managing all related laundry. You will clean and reset furnished apartments to hotel-quality standards, including kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas. Linens and beds need to be changed professionally, while laundry tasks require collecting, washing, drying, and folding items such as sheets, towels, and bath mats. Operate on-site laundry equipment, maintain storage areas, and keep common spaces tidy. A keen eye for detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to follow checklists independently are critical.
Pros of the Role
One major perk of this job is the competitive and reliable pay, which is higher than many similar roles and comes with the promise of permanent employment. Employees enjoy a sense of autonomy and pride in upholding hotel-level cleanliness standards. There’s also flexibility in the schedule and the opportunity to work both independently and as a part of a dedicated team.
Cons of the Role
This job does require physical stamina, as you’ll be lifting laundry and cleaning supplies throughout the day. The position demands high attention to detail and meeting tight daily deadlines, which could be stressful for some. Occasional weekend shifts could also disrupt work-life balance for those seeking a strictly Monday-to-Friday schedule.
Verdict: Is This Role Right for You?
This is a sound opportunity for those with prior hospitality cleaning experience who value stable work, independence, and pride in their results. If you thrive in hands-on roles, enjoy a steady pace, and don’t mind shifting schedules, this could be an ideal fit. For candidates who are detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering a hotel-style experience, the role delivers both financial security and respect for quality work.
