Flik Hospitality Group is looking to fill a full-time Food Service Utility position with immediate start. Experience with dishwashing or in food prep is a preference, smoothing the onboarding process and helping you quickly become effective in your daily work.
Day-to-day, you’ll ensure the kitchen area and food prep stations remain organized and clean. Your main focus will be sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing work tables, refrigerators, and other kitchen equipment. Additionally, tasks such as removing trash, cleaning garbage cans, transferring supplies, and helping with both setup and delivery will sometimes be needed. Adhering to strict safety and cleanliness standards is crucial, as is helping in other areas when asked – teamwork is essential.
What You’ll Actually Do Each Day
Your daily work routine includes handling kitchen sanitation, maintaining the cleanliness of surfaces and utensils, and organizing supplies. You’ll play a support role that makes things run smoothly for the rest of the team. Helping out with the front-of-house setup for banquets and occasionally distributing supplies and equipment adds variety to the role. Deliveries, loading, and unloading may be part of a busy shift. Staying flexible and attentive to new tasks as assigned showcases reliability and reliability to management.
